Chiasm 1 — Jeremiah 4:19
- A. 19 My bowels, my bowels! I am pained at my very heart; because thou hast heard, O my soul, the sound of the trumpet, the alarm of war.
- B. 19 I am pained at my very heart; the whole land is spoiled.
- B'. 20 Suddenly are my tents spoiled, and my curtains in a moment; my heart maketh a noise in me.
- A'. 19 I cannot hold my peace.
