1 Timothy 6:3-5
- A. 3 If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ,
- B. 3b and to the doctrine which is according to godliness;
- C. 4 He is proud, knowing nothing,
- D. 4b but doting about questions and strifes of words,
- E. 4c whereof cometh envy, strife, railings, evil surmisings,
- D'. 5 Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds,
- C'. 5b and destitute of the truth,
- B'. 5c supposing that gain is godliness:
- A'. 5d from such withdraw thyself.
1 Timothy 6:11-12
- A. 11 But thou, O man of God, flee these things;
- B. 11b and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.
- C. 12 Fight the good fight of faith,
- B'. 12b lay hold on eternal life,
- A'. 12c whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.
1 Timothy 6:13-16
- A. 13 I give thee charge in the sight of God,
- B. 13b who quickeneth all things,
- C. 13c and before Christ Jesus,
- D. 13d who before Pontius Pilate witnessed a good confession;
- E. 14 That thou keep this commandment without spot, unrebukeable,
- F. 14b until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ:
- E'. 15 Which in his times he shall shew,
- D'. 15b who is the blessed and only Potentate,
- C'. 15c the King of kings, and Lord of lords;
- B'. 16 Who only hath immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto;
- A'. 16b whom no man hath seen, nor can see: to whom be honour and power everlasting. Amen.
