Significance: Jesus quotes the same Psalm 118:26 verse the crowds used on Palm Sunday, but now as prophecy of future recognition. Jerusalem will not see him again until they say "Blessed is he who comes in the Lord's name" with genuine understanding and faith. This hints at a future day when Jerusalem/Israel will truly acknowledge Jesus as Messiah, possibly connecting to Paul's teaching about Israel's future salvation (Romans 11:25-27). Judgment is not God's final word for ethnic Israel; eschatological restoration remains part of God's plan.
