Significance: Royal processional psalm celebrating king's vice-regency under Yahweh. "Coming one" = messianic designation. "Hosanna" = "save now!" Psalm 118 well-known from Feast of Tabernacles/Passover liturgy. Crowds acclaim without full understanding (will later call for crucifixion). John adds "king of Israel" making messianic interpretation explicit (epexegetical definition or second acclamation).
