Significance: Harks back to previous instances (13:33; 7:33; 12:35; 14:19). OT prophets use similar terms for God's judgment/salvation. "Then after a little while" reminiscent of Isaiah 26:20 (also reference to Isaiah 26:17 in John 16:21).
