Significance: Anticipation of Spirit-pouring and kingdom age in OT prophetic literature. Convicting work: world's sin (expressed in hostility toward Jesus, 15:18-25), Jesus' righteousness as basis for world's judgment, resulting judgment of world itself (cf. 16:33).
