Significance: Both texts record Jehu's killing of Ahaziah, but with differing details about the location and circumstances. In 2 Kings 9:27, Ahaziah flees toward Beth-haggan and is struck by Jehu's men at the ascent of Gur near Ibleam, dying at Megiddo. In 2 Chronicles 22:7-9, Ahaziah is found hiding in Samaria, brought to Jehu, and killed.
