Significance: Numbers 9:10 permits a delayed Passover for those who are ritually unclean through corpse contact. 2 Chronicles 30:18 records a more radical application: many from Ephraim, Manasseh, Issachar, and Zebulun "ate the Passover otherwise than prescribed" because they had not purified themselves.
