The Reproaches
The righteous sufferer, hated without cause and given vinegar in his thirst, cries out in David's psalm — a first-person voice too large for David, fulfilled to the last drop at the cross, where the reproaches that were ours fall on the innocent Son, who now confesses our names before the throne.
