A 37 In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying,
- B 37 If any man thirst, let him come unto me,
- B' 38 and drink.
A' 38 He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.

A 39 (But this spake he
- B 39 of the Spirit,
  - C 39 which they that believe on him should receive:
- B' 39 for the Holy Ghost was not yet given;
A' 39 because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)
