The Hyperlinked Bible is a free Bible-study site. It has no accounts, no comments, no advertising, and nothing for sale. This page says plainly what the site does and does not collect.
What we do not collect
- No accounts or passwords. There is nothing to sign up for on this site.
- No cookies of our own. (Cloudflare's security service may set one if it needs to check that a visitor is not an automated program.)
- No advertising or cross-site tracking.
If you send us a suggestion
Most pages have a "Suggest a correction or idea" button. If you use it, we receive your message, the address of the page you were on, and your email address if you choose to give one so that we can reply. The form is delivered to us by a form service, Web3Forms. We use what you send only to read your suggestion and answer it.
What stays on your own device
If you switch between light and dark, turn on Reader's Mode, or change how a graph or timeline is shown, your browser remembers that choice on your device. It is not sent to us.
What is counted
- Visits, in total. The site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies and without identifying anyone.
- Clicks on our short links. When you follow a link from one of our videos (an address beginning
/go/or/start), we count it: the date, which link, which network it was shared on, the country, and whether the visit looks like a person or an automated program. We do not record your IP address, your browser, or anything that identifies you.
We use these numbers for one thing: to learn which videos help people find a study.
Services the site relies on
- Cloudflare hosts the site and its video files and protects it from abuse. Like any web host, it processes your IP address to deliver pages. Cloudflare's privacy policy
- Google Fonts supplies the typefaces, so your browser requests them from Google. Google's privacy policy
- Web3Forms delivers the suggestion form described above. Web3Forms' privacy policy
- A page that includes a diagram draws it with a script loaded from jsDelivr, a public code library.
- Links to YouTube and other networks take you to those services, under their own policies.
The Emmaus Road Uploader
"Emmaus Road Uploader" is a private tool we use to publish our own videos to our own YouTube channel through YouTube's API. It is used only by the site's owner. It does not access, collect or store anyone else's Google or YouTube data.
Children
The site is written for a general audience. It collects nothing from any visitor, child or adult, beyond what is described on this page.
