Quotation
Read the whole trajectory → Later text
John 6:31 BSB
Our fathers ate the manna in the wilderness, as it is written: ‘He gave them bread from heaven to eat.’” Earlier text
Psalms 78:24 BSB
He rained down manna for them to eat; He gave them grain from heaven. Significance People invoke Scripture to test Jesus. Irony: they just witnessed the sign but demand another. Jesus will correct: not Moses but God gave bread; Jesus himself is true bread from heaven (6:32-58).
