Anchor Text: Dan 7:13-14 — The Son of Man Receiving Dominion

Significance: Paul declares that God raised Christ and "seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly realms, far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every name that is named... And God put everything under His feet and made Him head over everything for the church" (Eph 1:20-22). The session at the right hand draws Psalm 110:1, and "everything under His feet" quotes Psalm 8:6 — so the vault files Eph 1:20-22 → Ps 110:1 and Eph 1:22 → Gen 1:28. But the catalogue of subjugated powers — "all rule and authority, power and dominion" — and Christ's supremacy over "the age to come" reflect the Danielic vision, where the Son of Man is given dominion over every competing kingdom and an everlasting reign "that will not pass away" (Dan 7:14, 26-27). This IP documents the Danielic dimension of Paul's composite. The connection is promise-fulfillment joined to a longitudinal theme: the universal and everlasting dominion granted the Son of Man, the rule mandated to Adam (Ps 8 / Gen 1), and the right-hand exaltation of the Davidic Lord (Ps 110) all converge in the exalted Christ. The telos is the cosmically supreme Head given "for the church" — the King whose limitless dominion is exercised on behalf of His people, so that to grasp the heights of His exaltation is to be assured of His love and drawn to hope in Him (Eph 1:18-19).
