Earlier text
And when your days are fulfilled and you rest with your fathers, I will raise up your descendant after you, who will come from your own body, and I will establish his kingdom. He will build a house for My Name, and I will establish the throne of his kingdom forever. I will be his Father, and he will be My son. When he does wrong, I will discipline him with the rod of men and with the blows of the sons of men. But My loving devotion will never be removed from him as I removed it from Saul, whom I moved out of your way. Your house and kingdom will endure forever before Me, and your throne will be established forever."

Paul's "the kingdom of His beloved Son" (Colossians 1:13) gathers up the Davidic covenant: 2 Samuel 7:12-16 promises David a descendant whose throne God will establish forever and whom God will treat as a son ("I will be his Father, and he will be My son"). The "beloved Son" title fuses that Davidic sonship with the Father's own declaration over Jesus (Matt 3:17; cf. Ps 2:7's "You are My Son"), so the kingdom believers have been brought into is not a new project but the promised everlasting Davidic kingdom now inaugurated — entered by rescue and transfer (aorist indicatives), not built by human effort, exactly the "already" pole of the Stone-Kingdom trajectory (TT 090, Stage 12).
