The sons of Gomer: Ashkenaz, Riphath, and Togarmah.
Significance
Ezekiel 38:6 mentions "Gomer with all its troops, and Beth-togarmah from the far north," with both names appearing in Genesis 10:3 as sons of Gomer son of Japheth. תּוֹגַרְמָה (Togarmah) is a grandson of Japheth in the Table of Nations, and Ezekiel identifies his house (בֵּית תּוֹגַרְמָה, Bet Togarmah) as part of Gog's coalition. By drawing allies from the Table of Nations genealogy, Ezekiel constructs a coalition representing the far reaches of the Japhethite world—peoples from "the far north" (יַרְכְּתֵי צָפוֹן, yarketey tsafon)—to portray the eschatological threat as a universal gathering of distant nations against God's restored people.

Connection Method(s)
Redemptive-Historical Progression — Genesis 10:3's Togarmah, son of Gomer, belongs to the post-flood genealogy of Japheth's line; Ezekiel 38 (vv. 2, 6) marshals "Gomer with all its troops, and Beth-togarmah from the far north" under the Gog of 38:2, advancing the one storyline from the dispersion of the nations to their far-northern end-time muster against God's restored people and their defeat before Him (38:23; the trajectory Revelation 20:8 completes).
