Old Testament → Old Testament — underlined coloured phrases, where this verse connects to another OT passage:

Direct Quotation — a word-for-word citation
Allusion — a deliberate reference without quoting
Echo — a fainter verbal or thematic resonance

Old Testament → New Testament — coloured † crosses, where the New Testament takes up this verse:

† Direct Quotation — the NT quotes this verse
† Allusion — the NT references it
† Echo — a fainter NT resonance
