In that time sent letters, and ambassadors, and gifts to Hezekiah; for he heard that he was infirm unto death, and was raised up.
And rejoiced And he showed to them the house of the spices, and of the silver, and of the gold, and of the balsam, and of the incenses, and of the perfumed liquid, and all the houses of the items of the treasury, and all as much as was in his treasuries. And there was not one thing which did not in his house.
And came to king Hezekiah, and he said to him, What did say And from what place have they come to you? And Hezekiah said, From a land at a distance they have come to me from Babylon.
And Isaiah said, What did they see in your house? And Hezekiah said, All the things in my house they beheld; and there is not anything in my house which they did not behold; but even the things in my treasuries.
And Isaiah said to him, Hear the word of the lord of Hosts!
Behold, days come, and they shall take all in your house; even as much as brought together until this day unto and not one thing in any way shall be left behind. said
that, Also of your children whom you engendered they shall take; and they shall be made castrati in the house of the king of the Babylonians.
And Hezekiah said to Isaiah, is good which you spoke; let there be indeed peace and righteousness in my days!
