Job 28

Job 28 - 1

For there is for silver a place from where it exists, and a place for gold from where it is refined.

Job 28 - 2

Iron for from out of the earth comes, and brass equally like stone is quarried.

Job 28 - 3

An order he established for darkness, and every limit he determines exactly; stone darkness and the shadow of death.

Job 28 - 4

There is a breach of the rushing stream from powder; and the ones forgetting way of the just are weakened; of mortals they are shaken.

Job 28 - 5

As for the earth, out of it shall come forth bread; underneath it, it was turned as fire.

Job 28 - 6

Are the place of the sapphire her stones; and an embankment her gold.

Job 28 - 7

There is a road not knows it the bird; and looked not over it the eye of the vulture.

Job 28 - 8

Not trod it the sons of ostentatious ones; not went upon it a lion.

Job 28 - 9

In a chiseled place he stretched forth his hand, and overturned by the roots mountains.

Job 28 - 10

And the hill of rivers he tore up; every valuable thing beheld my eye.

Job 28 - 11

And the depths of the rivers he uncovered, and he shows his power in light.

Job 28 - 12

But wisdom from what place found? and of what place is the higher knowledge?

Job 28 - 13

Knows not a mortal her way, nor in no way is she found among men.

Job 28 - 14

The abyss said, she is not in me; and the sea said, she is not with me.

Job 28 - 15

One shall not give an investment for her, and shall not set silver as a bargain for her.

Job 28 - 16

And she shall not be compared with the gold Ophir, with onyx valuable and sapphire.

Job 28 - 17

Shall not be equal to her gold and glass, nor the barter for her items of gold.

Job 28 - 18

Meteorites and crystal shall not be mentioned; but draw on wisdom above the innermost things.

Job 28 - 19

Shall not be equal to her the topaz of Ethiopia; gold pure she shall not be compared with.

Job 28 - 20

But concerning wisdom, from what place shall she be found? and of what kind of place is the understanding?

Job 28 - 21

She has escaped notice of every man; and from the birds of the heaven she was hid.

Job 28 - 22

Destruction and death said, We have heard of her the fame.

Job 28 - 23

God well commended her the way; and he knows the her place.

Job 28 - 24

For he the under heaven all things inspects, knowing the in the earth.

Job 28 - 25

All which he made, of the winds even the weight, of water and the measures.

Job 28 - 26

When he made them, thus seeing he counted them, and made a way for the vibration of sound.

Job 28 - 27

Then he beheld it, he described it; preparing he tracked it out.

Job 28 - 28

And he said to man, Behold, the godliness is wisdom; and being at a distance from evils is higher knowledge.
