Deuteronomy 5


Deuteronomy 5 - 1

And Moses called all Israel, and he said to them, Hear O Israel, the ordinances and the judgments! as many as I speak in your ears in this day. And you shall learn them, and guard to do them.

Deuteronomy 5 - 2

your God ordained to you a covenant in Horeb.

Deuteronomy 5 - 3

Not your fathers this covenant, but only with you; even you here all living today.

Deuteronomy 5 - 4

Face to face to you in the mountain from of the fire.

Deuteronomy 5 - 5

And I stood between and you in that time, to announce to you the sayings of the lord (for you were in fear from before the fire, and you did not ascend unto the mountain), saying,

Deuteronomy 5 - 6

I am your God, the one leading you from out of of Egypt, from of slavery.

Deuteronomy 5 - 7

There shall not be to you before my face.

Deuteronomy 5 - 8

You shall not make for yourself a carving, nor any representation, as many as the heaven upward, and as many as the earth below, and as many as the waters underneath the earth.

Deuteronomy 5 - 9

You shall not do obeisance to them, nor in any way serve them; for I am your God, a jealous God, repaying of the fathers upon unto and fourth generation to the ones detesting me,

Deuteronomy 5 - 10

and executing mercy to thousands, to the ones loving me, and to the ones keeping my orders.

Deuteronomy 5 - 11

You shall not take the name of the lord your God in vain; for shall not the one taking his name in vain.

Deuteronomy 5 - 12

Guard the day of the Sabbaths! to sanctify it in which manner gave charge

Deuteronomy 5 - 13

Six days you shall work, and do all your works.

Deuteronomy 5 - 14

But the day your God. You shall not do on it any work you, and your son, and your daughter, your manservant, and your maidservant, your ox, and your beast of burden, and every beast of yours, and the foreigner sojourning among you, that should have cause to rest as also you.

Deuteronomy 5 - 15

And you shall remember that you were a servant in of Egypt, and led from there by hand and with arm On account of this gave orders so as for you to guard the day of the Sabbaths, and to sanctify it.

Deuteronomy 5 - 16

Esteem your father and your mother! in which manner gave charge that good should be to you, and that a long time upon the earth, of which your God gives to you.

Deuteronomy 5 - 17

You shall not murder.

Deuteronomy 5 - 18

You shall not commit adultery.

Deuteronomy 5 - 19

You shall not steal.

Deuteronomy 5 - 20

You shall not witness falsely against your neighbor witness

Deuteronomy 5 - 21

You shall not desire the wife of your neighbor. You shall not desire the house of your neighbor, nor his field, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his beast of burden, nor any beast of his, nor any thing as much as of your neighbor

Deuteronomy 5 - 22

These are the discourses to all your congregation in the mountain from of the fire, darkness, dimness, storm voice and he did not add any more. And he wrote them upon two tablets of stone, and he gave them to me.

Deuteronomy 5 - 23

And it came to pass as you heard the voice from out of of the fire, and the mountain burned fire, and there came forward to me all the leaders of your tribes, and your council of elders,

Deuteronomy 5 - 24

that you said, Behold, showed his glory, and his voice we hear from of the fire. In this day we beheld that God shall speak to man, and he shall live.

Deuteronomy 5 - 25

And now lest at any time we die, for shall completely consume if we should have added the voice of the lord our God any more then we shall die.

Deuteronomy 5 - 26

For what flesh who heard of the living God speaking from of the fire as

Deuteronomy 5 - 27

You approach and hear all as much as should to you! And you shall speak to us all whatever as much as should speak to you, and we will hear, and we will do.

Deuteronomy 5 - 28

And the voice of your words speaking to me. And to me, I heard the voice of the words of this people, as many as they spoke to you rightly, all as many as they spoke.

Deuteronomy 5 - 29

Who shall give to be in them, so as to fear me, and to guard my commandments all the days, that good might be to them and to their sons through

Deuteronomy 5 - 30

Proceed! Say to them! You return to your houses!

Deuteronomy 5 - 31

But you here stand with me! and I shall speak to you all the commandments, and the ordinances, and the judgments, as many as you shall teach them. And let them do thus in the land which I give to them by lot!

Deuteronomy 5 - 32

And you shall guard to do in which manner gave charge to not turn aside right nor left,

Deuteronomy 5 - 33

every way which gave charge to go by it, so that he should rest you, and good might be to you, and you should prolong your days upon the land which you shall inherit.
