Genesis 40


Genesis 40 - 1

And it came to pass after these things, sinned and the chief baker their master of Egypt.

Genesis 40 - 2

And Pharaoh was provoked to anger over two over the chief wine taster and over the chief baker.

Genesis 40 - 3

And he put them under guard in the jail, into the place where Joseph had been taken away there.

Genesis 40 - 4

And combined them to Joseph, and he stood beside them. And they were some days under guard.

Genesis 40 - 5

And saw a dream in one night. And the vision of the dream of the chief wine taster and the ones who were in service to the king of Egypt, the ones being in the jail, was this.

Genesis 40 - 6

entered in the morning, and he saw them, and they were disturbed.

Genesis 40 - 7

And he asked the eunuchs of Pharaoh, who were with him under guard, by his master, saying, Why your faces today?

Genesis 40 - 8

And they said to him, a dream and the interpreting it is not. said not Describe them then to me.

Genesis 40 - 9

And described his dream Joseph. And he said, In my sleep there was a grapevine before me.

Genesis 40 - 10

And in the grapevine three lower branches; and it flourished offering buds the clusters of the grape.

Genesis 40 - 11

And the cup of Pharaoh my hand, and I took the grape cluster and squeezed it into the cup, and gave the cup into the hand of Pharaoh.

Genesis 40 - 12

And said This interpretation of it. The three lower branches three

Genesis 40 - 13

In yet three days and Pharaoh will remember your office, and restore you to your office of chief wine taster, and you will give the cup to Pharaoh, into his hand according to office as you were of the wine servers.

Genesis 40 - 14

But remember me of yourself, whenever good happens to you, and you shall do with me And you shall remind concerning and lead me from this fortress.

Genesis 40 - 15

For by stealth I was stolen from of the Hebrews, and here I did not do anything, but they put me into this pit.

Genesis 40 - 16

And saw that rightly he interpreted, and he said to Joseph, I also saw a dream, and I imagined three bins of groats, lifted upon my head.

Genesis 40 - 17

And in above, all kinds of things of which Pharaoh eats of a baker. And the birds of the heaven ate them from the bin upon my head.

Genesis 40 - 18

And answering Joseph said to him, This interpretation of it. The three bins three

Yet in three days and Pharaoh will remove your head from you, and hang you upon a timber, and will eat the flesh from you.

Genesis 40 - 20

And it came to pass in the day day of Pharaoh, and he made a banquet for all his servants, and he remembered chief wine taster, and the office of the chief baker in of his servants.

Genesis 40 - 21

And he restored the chief wine taster to his office, and he gave the cup unto the hand of Pharaoh.

Genesis 40 - 22

And the chief baker he hung, as interpreted

And remembered not Joseph, but forgot him.
