And in the year of the kingdom of Asa, ascended against Judah. And he built Ramah to not give an exit nor entrance to Asa king of Judah.
And Asa took silver and gold from out of of the house of the lord, and from the house of the king, and he sent to the son of Hadad king of Syria, the one dwelling in Damascus, saying,
Ordain a covenant between me and between you, and between my father and between your father! Behold, I have sent to you gold and silver. Come, and efface your covenant with Baasha king of Israel! and he shall go forth from me.
And hearkened to king Asa, and sent the rulers of his force against the cities of Israel. And he struck Ijon, and Dan, and Abel-maim, and all the places round about Naphtali.
And it happened when Baasha heard, that he left off to no longer build Ramah, and he rested his work.
And king Asa took all Judah; and he lifted away all the stones of Ramah, and its timbers which Baasha built with; and he built with them Geba and Mizpah.
And in that time came to Asa king of Judah, and said to him; Because you relied upon of Syria, and did not upon your God, on account of this came through safe from your hand.
not and of courage for chariots and horsemen in multitude, exceedingly? And in your relying upon he delivered them into your hands.
For the eyes of the lord look in all the earth to strengthen with every heart perfect towards him. You have known about this; from now on will be
And Asa was enraged with the prophet, and he placed him in of the prison, for he was angry over this. And Asa laid waste among the people at that time.
And behold, the words of Asa, the first and the last, upon of the kings of Judah and Israel.
And Asa was infirm in the year of his kingdom in his feet, until was higher And in his infirmity he did not seek the but the physicians.
And Asa slept with his fathers, and he came to an end in the fortieth and first year of his kingdom.
And they entombed him in the tomb in which he dug for himself in of David. And they rested him upon the bed, and they filled it of aromatics, and types perfumes And they made for him funeral and they kindled him burning unto exceedingly.
