Isaiah 57


Isaiah 57 - 1

Behold! how the just one perishes, and no one looks out for the heart; and men are lifted away, and no one contemplates. For from of injustice has been lifted away

Isaiah 57 - 2

will be he has been lifted from out of the midst.

Isaiah 57 - 3

But you lead forward here, sons seed of adulterers, and of a harlot!

Isaiah 57 - 4

In what have you reveled in? And against whom have you opened your mouth? And against whom have you slackened your tongue? not children of destruction? a seed without honor?

Isaiah 57 - 5

ones calling for aid upon the idols under trees slaying their children in the ravines between the rocks?

Isaiah 57 - 6

That is your portion, this is your lot. To those you poured out libations, and to these you offered sacrifices; over these things then shall I not be provoked to anger?

Isaiah 57 - 7

Upon mountain there bed, and there you hauled to sacrifice your sacrifices.

Isaiah 57 - 8

And behind the doorposts of your door you placed your memorials. that if you should separate from me more You loved the ones going to bed with you;

Isaiah 57 - 9

and you multiplied your harlotry with them, and many of them far from you. And you sent ambassadors over your borders, and you were abased unto Hades.

Isaiah 57 - 10

in and You said not, I shall cease growing in strength. For you practiced these things. On account of this did not

Isaiah 57 - 11

In venerating whom were you afraid of, that you lied against me, and did not remember me, nor took me into your consideration, nor into your heart? And I beholding you will overlook, yet me

Isaiah 57 - 12

And I will report of your righteousness; and your evils shall not benefit you.

Isaiah 57 - 13

Whenever you should yell out, you in your affliction! these things shall take, and shall carry away But the ones holding on in me shall acquire and they shall inherit mountain

Isaiah 57 - 14

And they shall say, Clear from and lift from the way of my people!

Isaiah 57 - 15

Thus says the highest, the one in dwelling the eon. Holy in highest and to the faint-hearted giving long-suffering, and giving life to the ones being broken in heart.

Isaiah 57 - 16

not nor always for a spirit from me shall go forth, and breath

Isaiah 57 - 17

On account of sin a little in anything I grieved him, and I struck him, and I turned my face from him; and I was grieved, and he went gloomy in his ways.

Isaiah 57 - 18

his ways and I healed him, and comforted him, and gave to him comfort

Isaiah 57 - 19

Peace upon peace to the ones far off, and to the ones being near. And I will heal them.

Isaiah 57 - 20

But the unjust thus shall swell as waves, and to rest

Isaiah 57 - 21

There is no rejoicing to the impious, said God.
