2 Samuel 21


2 Samuel 21 - 1

And there was a famine in the days of David for three years, year next to year. And David sought the face of the lord. And Against Saul and against his house iniquity, in of his blood shed, for which he put to death the Gibeonites.

2 Samuel 21 - 2

And called the Gibeonites, and he spoke to them. And the Gibeonites were not of the sons of Israel, for of and the sons of Israel swore an oath to them. But Saul sought to strike them in his zeal for the sons of Israel and Judah.

2 Samuel 21 - 3

And David said to the Gibeonites, What shall I do for you? And by what means shall I atone, and you shall bless the inheritance of the lord?

2 Samuel 21 - 4

And said There is not a problem with us over silver nor gold with Saul, and with his house; and there is no man for us to put to death from all Israel.

2 Samuel 21 - 5

And he said, What you say even I will do for you. And they said to the king, The man who finished us off entirely, and pursued us, who misled to utterly destroy us, we shall remove him, is not in any border of Israel.

2 Samuel 21 - 6

Give to us seven men from his sons, and we will hang them in the sun to the in Gibeah of Saul, chosen of the lord. And said I will give them.

And he bore from there the bones of Saul, and the bones of Jonathan his son, and he gathered the bones of the ones hanging in the sun.

And he entombed the bones of Saul, and of Jonathan his son, and the bones of the ones being expose to the sun, in the land of Benjamin, in the side of the hill, in the tomb of Kish his father. And they did all as much as gave charge And God heeded to the land after these things.

And there was still war against the Philistines with Israel. And David went down and his servants with him, and they waged war with the Philistines; and David grew faint.
