2 Chronicles 13 - 1

In the eighteenth year of the kingdom of Jeroboam, Abijah took reign over Judah.

2 Chronicles 13 - 2

Three years he reigned in Jerusalem. And of his mother daughter of Uriel of Gibeah. And there was war between Abijah and between Jeroboam.

2 Chronicles 13 - 3

And Abijah deployed for the war with a force of warriors of power four hundred thousand men And Jeroboam deployed against him for war with eight hundred thousand men mighty warriors of power.

2 Chronicles 13 - 4

And Abijah rose up from mount Zemaraim, which is in mount Ephraim, and said, Hear me, Jeroboam and all Israel!

to you to know that God of Israel appointed David over Israel into the eon, and his sons for a covenant of salt?

2 Chronicles 13 - 6

And rose up the servant of Solomon son of David, and revolted from his master.

2 Chronicles 13 - 7

And there gathered together with him men sons of lawbreakers, and they grew in strength against Rehoboam son of Solomon, and Rehoboam was younger and timid in heart, and he did not fortify against their face.

And now you speak to oppose against of the kingdom of the lord in of the sons of David, and you are multitude and with you calves of gold which made as gods.

2 Chronicles 13 - 9

Or did you not cast out the priests of the lord, the sons of Aaron, and the Levites; and you made to yourselves priests from the people of the land? Even every one approaching filling his hand with a calf, of the herd, and rams and he becomes as a priest to the one not being God.

2 Chronicles 13 - 10

And we the lord And his priests officiate to the the sons of Aaron and the Levites in their daily rotations.

2 Chronicles 13 - 11

And they burn whole burnt-offerings morning and evening to evening, and composition, and place settings of bread loaves upon the table and the lamp-stand and its lamps to light evening For we guard the watch of the lord, the God of our fathers; but you abandoned him.

2 Chronicles 13 - 12

And behold, with us as head and his priests, and the trumpets to signify against you. Sons of Israel, you should not wage war against God of your fathers; for your ways shall not be prospered.

2 Chronicles 13 - 13

And Jeroboam circled an ambush to come from behind them. And they were in front of Judah, and the ambush the places behind.

2 Chronicles 13 - 14

And Judah turned, and behold, the battle from the places in front and from the places posterior. And they yelled to and the priests trumped the trumpets.

2 Chronicles 13 - 15

And shouted And it happened when shouted that struck Jeroboam and Israel before Abijah and Judah.

2 Chronicles 13 - 16

And fled from of Judah, and delivered into their hands.

2 Chronicles 13 - 17

And struck And there fell slain of Israel five hundred thousand men

And were abased in that day, and grew strong for they hoped upon the God of their fathers.

2 Chronicles 13 - 19

And Abijah pursued after Jeroboam, and first took from him of Beth-el and her towns, and Jeshanah and her towns, and Ephrain and her towns.

2 Chronicles 13 - 20

And did not any more the days of Abijah. And struck and he died.

2 Chronicles 13 - 21

And Abijah grew strong, and took for himself wives and engendered twenty and two sons, and sixteen daughters.
