Trajectory Table
Garden Commission (Extending Sacred Space)
11 stages
This video could not be loaded here. Read on: every stage of the trajectory is on this page.
The command to "be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth" (פְּרוּ וּרְבוּ וּמִלְאוּ אֶת־הָאָרֶץ, pərû ûrəḇû ûmilʾû ʾeṯ-hāʾāreṣ; Genesis 1:28) is a blessing of fruitfulness — the same blessing God had spoken four verses earlier over the fish and the birds (Genesis 1:22) — so the sacred-space freight does not live in those words by themselves. It is supplied by the garden standing beside them and by the theme the canon then develops out of both. God planted a garden "in Eden" (Genesis 2:8) — a localized sacred space, with rivers flowing out from it (2:10-14) — and placed the man there "to cultivate and keep it" (2:15), the priestly ʿabad-shamar pair of sanctuary service (the sanctuary axis belongs to TT 048 Eden as Temple, the priestly vocation to TT 076 Image of God). Blessing and garden read together give the commission its canonical shape: image-bearing priest-kings multiplying outward from a sanctuary source-point until God's glorious presence fills all creation — garden-sanctuary to global glory-filling. This commission was interrupted by the Fall, formally re-issued to Noah after the Flood (Genesis 9:1, 7 using identical Genesis 1:28 vocabulary), verbally renewed to Abraham with worldwide scope ("all the families of the earth will be blessed through you," Genesis 12:3), partially realized in Israel's land, prophetically anticipated on a global scale (Isaiah 11:9; Habakkuk 2:14 using the same מָלֵא "fill" root as Genesis 1:28), inaugurated in Christ's ministry and Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20), presently advancing through gospel proclamation, and will be consummated when "the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD as the waters cover the sea." Because the OT itself already uses Genesis 1:28's vocabulary to articulate the commission's eschatological fulfillment, this trajectory is a Forward-Looking Longitudinal Theme with explicit promise-trajectories running through it — not a backward-looking type recognized only from the NT.
How this connects — Method
Longitudinal Theme (primary) — the expansion of sacred space and the filling of the earth with God's presence is one of Scripture's most comprehensive canonical motifs, traceable from Genesis 1-2 through Noah, Abraham, Israel's land, the prophetic visions of global Edenic restoration, Christ's inaugurated kingdom, the church's mission, to Revelation 21-22's cosmic temple-city. Each stage is a genuine developmental iteration of one motif rather than a discrete typological prefigurement — which is what makes this a Longitudinal Theme rather than Typology. Also Promise-Fulfillment — the Adamic commission is explicitly re-issued as verbal divine speech-act three times (Genesis 1:28 → Genesis 9:1, 7 → Genesis 35:11; the Abrahamic form is promissory — Genesis 12:1-3; 17:2, 6; 22:17), progressively developed through prophetic anticipations that reuse its vocabulary (Isaiah 11:9; Habakkuk 2:14 both employing the מָלֵא "fill" root), and thematically re-voiced in Christ's Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20), which re-issues Genesis 1:28's universal scope without reusing any of its vocabulary — the verbal reuse belongs to the prophets, not to Matthew. Also Redemptive-Historical Progression — the commission's interrupted-resumed-consummated story tracks the narrative arc of the whole canon, providing the storyline backbone. Typology is not the primary lens — and naming it so is the anti-default rule working in reverse: the reflex on any First-Adam / Genesis-1 text is to reach immediately for "Adam is a type of Christ" and preach the last-Adam correspondence as the primary road, but this table refuses that reflex and names the road the text warrants. The Adam→Christ last-Adam typology is genuinely valid and Pauline (Romans 5:14, Adam "a pattern of the One to come" — Paul's word is τύπος; 1 Corinthians 15:45, "the last Adam a life-giving spirit") — but it is the type of the person, deliberately ceded to TT 005 Adam (the federal person and the last-Adam type), with TT 048 Eden as Temple owning the sanctuary/dwelling axis and TT 076 Image of God the priestly ʿabad-shamar vocation. This table owns the commission / sacred-space-EXTENSION axis — the mandate to fill the earth — which develops canonically as a theme traced through multiple non-typological stages (Noahic renewal, Abrahamic promise, Israel's partial participation, prophetic vision), making Longitudinal Theme the primary method. Lane note: the four axes (extension = this TT · sanctuary = TT 048 · vocation = TT 076 · person/last-Adam type = TT 005) are complementary facets of one storyline that converge — but are not flattened — at the cosmic temple-city (Revelation 21-22); the dominion-kingdom texts (Psalm 72:8 "rule from sea to sea"; Daniel 7:14 "dominion, glory, and kingship, that the people of every nation and language should serve Him") are carried as supporting the Great Commission's universal-scope re-voicing, cross-referenced to the Davidic/kingdom lane, not annexed. A fifth neighbour shares this table's Genesis 1:28 + Exodus 1:7 material: TT 079 Israel (Corporate New-Adam) owns the corporate-Adam axis. The two are complementary facets, not rival claims — 062 works Exodus 1:7 as a stage of the extension-theme (a recurring blessing-refrain: Genesis 1:22 → 1:28 → 9:1 → Exodus 1:7), while TT 079 works the same verse as Israel's corporate-Adam typology, whose warrant is corporate solidarity rather than a private two-verse verbal citation. The dwelling end of the same storyline — God's presence extended through Christ, the true temple, to the Spirit-indwelt church — is TT 158 Temple Ecclesiology's freehold, cited here, not annexed.

2828 God blessed them and said to them, "Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth and subdue it; rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air and every creature that crawls upon the earth."
8And the LORD God planted a garden in Eden, in the east, where He placed the man He had formed. 9Out of the ground the LORD God gave growth to every tree that is pleasing to the eye and good for food. And in the middle of the garden were the tree of life and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. 10Now a river flowed out of Eden to water the garden, and from there it branched into four headwaters: 11The name of the first river is Pishon; it winds through the whole land of Havilah, where there is gold. 12And the gold of that land is pure, and bdellium and onyx are found there. 13The name of the second river is Gihon; it winds through the whole land of Cush. 14The name of the third river is Hiddekel; it runs along the east side of Assyria. And the fourth river is the Euphrates. 15Then the LORD God took the man and placed him in the Garden of Eden to cultivate and keep it.

IIOT Crisis — Commission Frustrated by Curse and BabelCrisis
Texts
14So the LORD God said to the serpent: "Because you have done this, cursed are you above all livestock and every beast of the field! On your belly will you go, and dust you will eat, all the days of your life. 15And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her seed. He will crush your head, and you will strike his heel." 16To the woman He said: "I will sharply increase your pain in childbirth; in pain you will bring forth children. Your desire will be for your husband, and he will rule over you." 17And to Adam He said: "Because you have listened to the voice of your wife and have eaten from the tree of which I commanded you not to eat, cursed is the ground because of you; through toil you will eat of it all the days of your life. 18Both thorns and thistles it will yield for you, and you will eat the plants of the field. 19By the sweat of your brow you will eat your bread, until you return to the ground—because out of it were you taken. For dust you are, and to dust you shall return." 20And Adam named his wife Eve, because she would be the mother of all the living. 21And the LORD God made garments of skin for Adam and his wife, and He clothed them. 22Then the LORD God said, "Behold, the man has become like one of Us, knowing good and evil. And now, lest he reach out his hand and take also from the tree of life, and eat, and live forever..." 23Therefore the LORD God banished him from the Garden of Eden to work the ground from which he had been taken. 24So He drove out the man and stationed cherubim on the east side of the Garden of Eden, along with a whirling sword of flame to guard the way to the tree of life.
11Now you are cursed and banished from the ground, which has opened its mouth to receive your brother's blood from your hand. 12When you till the ground, it will no longer yield its produce to you. You will be a fugitive and a wanderer on the earth." 13But Cain said to the LORD, "My punishment is greater than I can bear. 14Behold, this day You have driven me from the face of the earth, and from Your face I will be hidden; I will be a fugitive and a wanderer on the earth, and whoever finds me will kill me."
1Now the whole world had one language and a common form of speech. 2And as people journeyed eastward, they found a plain in the land of Shinar and settled there. 3And they said to one another, "Come, let us make bricks and bake them thoroughly." So they used brick instead of stone, and tar instead of mortar. 4"Come," they said, "let us build for ourselves a city with a tower that reaches to the heavens, that we may make a name for ourselves and not be scattered over the face of all the earth." 5Then the LORD came down to see the city and the tower that the sons of men were building. 6And the LORD said, "If they have begun to do this as one people speaking the same language, then nothing they devise will be beyond them. 7Come, let Us go down and confuse their language, so that they will not understand one another's speech." 8So the LORD scattered them from there over the face of all the earth, and they stopped building the city. 9That is why it is called Babel, for there the LORD confused the language of the whole world, and from that place the LORD scattered them over the face of all the earth.

IIIOT Renewal — Noahic Re-Issuance of the CommissionRenewal
Texts
1And God blessed Noah and his sons and said to them, "Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth. 2The fear and dread of you will fall on every living creature on the earth, every bird of the air, every creature that crawls on the ground, and all the fish of the sea. They are delivered into your hand. 3Everything that lives and moves will be food for you; just as I gave you the green plants, I now give you all things. 4But you must not eat meat with its lifeblood still in it. 5And surely I will require the life of any man or beast by whose hand your lifeblood is shed. I will demand an accounting from anyone who takes the life of his fellow man: 6Whoever sheds the blood of man, by man his blood will be shed; for in His own image God has made mankind. 7But as for you, be fruitful and multiply; spread out across the earth and multiply upon it."

1Then the LORD said to Abram, "Leave your country, your kindred, and your father's household, and go to the land I will show you. 2I will make you into a great nation, and I will bless you; I will make your name great, so that you will be a blessing. 3I will bless those who bless you and curse those who curse you; and all the families of the earth will be blessed through you."
1When Abram was ninety-nine years old, the LORD appeared to him and said, "I am God Almighty. Walk before Me and be blameless. 2I will establish My covenant between Me and you, and I will multiply you exceedingly." 3Then Abram fell facedown, and God said to him, 4"As for Me, this is My covenant with you: You will be the father of many nations. 5No longer will you be called Abram, but your name will be Abraham, for I have made you a father of many nations. 6I will make you exceedingly fruitful; I will make nations of you, and kings will descend from you. 7I will establish My covenant as an everlasting covenant between Me and you and your descendants after you, to be your God and the God of your descendants after you. 8And to you and your descendants I will give the land where you are residing—all the land of Canaan—as an eternal possession; and I will be their God."
17I will surely bless you, and I will multiply your descendants like the stars in the sky and the sand on the seashore. Your descendants will possess the gates of their enemies. 18And through your offspring all nations of the earth will be blessed, because you have obeyed My voice."
11And God told him, "I am God Almighty. Be fruitful and multiply. A nation—even a company of nations—shall come from you, and kings shall descend from you.

7but the Israelites were fruitful and increased rapidly; they multiplied and became exceedingly numerous, so that the land was filled with them.
3If you follow My statutes and carefully keep My commandments, 4I will give you rains in their season, and the land will yield its produce, and the trees of the field will bear their fruit. 5Your threshing will continue until the grape harvest, and the grape harvest will continue until sowing time; you will have your fill of food to eat and will dwell securely in your land. 6And I will give peace to the land, and you will lie down with nothing to fear. I will rid the land of dangerous animals, and no sword will pass through your land. 7You will pursue your enemies, and they will fall by the sword before you. 8Five of you will pursue a hundred, and a hundred of you will pursue ten thousand, and your enemies will fall by the sword before you. 9I will turn toward you and make you fruitful and multiply you, and I will establish My covenant with you. 10You will still be eating the old supply of grain when you need to clear it out to make room for the new. 11And I will make My dwelling place among you, and My soul will not despise you. 12I will walk among you and be your God, and you will be My people. 13I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt so that you would no longer be slaves to the Egyptians. I broke the bars of your yoke and enabled you to walk in uprightness.
7For the LORD your God is bringing you into a good land, a land of brooks and fountains and springs that flow through the valleys and hills; 8a land of wheat, barley, vines, fig trees, and pomegranates; a land of olive oil and honey; 9a land where you will eat food without scarcity, where you will lack nothing; a land whose rocks are iron and whose hills are ready to be mined for copper. 10When you eat and are satisfied, you are to bless the LORD your God for the good land that He has given you.
20The people of Judah and Israel were as numerous as the sand on the seashore, and they were eating and drinking and rejoicing. 21And Solomon reigned over all the kingdoms from the Euphrates to the land of the Philistines, as far as the border of Egypt. These kingdoms offered tribute and served Solomon all the days of his life. 22Solomon’s provisions for a single day were thirty cors of fine flour, sixty cors of meal, 23ten fat oxen, twenty range oxen, and a hundred sheep, as well as deer, gazelles, roebucks, and fattened poultry. 24For Solomon had dominion over everything west of the Euphrates—over all the kingdoms from Tiphsah to Gaza—and he had peace on all sides. 25Throughout the days of Solomon, Judah and Israel dwelt securely from Dan to Beersheba, each man under his own vine and his own fig tree.

3When I behold Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, the moon and the stars, which You have set in place— 4what is man that You are mindful of him, or the son of man that You care for him? 5You made him a little lower than the angels; You crowned him with glory and honor. 6You made him ruler of the works of Your hands; You have placed everything under his feet: 7all sheep and oxen, and even the beasts of the field, 8the birds of the air and the fish of the sea, all that swim the paths of the seas.
5For it is not to angels that He has subjected the world to come, about which we are speaking. 6But somewhere it is testified in these words: “What is man that You are mindful of him, or the son of man that You care for him? 7You made him a little lower than the angels; You crowned him with glory and honor 8and placed everything under his feet.” When God subjected all things to him, He left nothing outside of his control. Yet at present we do not see everything subject to him. 9But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels, now crowned with glory and honor because He suffered death, so that by the grace of God He might taste death for everyone.

6The wolf will live with the lamb, and the leopard will lie down with the goat; the calf and young lion and fatling will be together, and a little child will lead them. 7The cow will graze with the bear, their young will lie down together, and the lion will eat straw like the ox. 8The infant will play by the cobra's den, and the toddler will reach into the viper's nest. 9They will neither harm nor destroy on all My holy mountain, for the earth will be full of the knowledge of the LORD as the sea is full of water. 10On that day the Root of Jesse will stand as a banner for the peoples. The nations will seek Him, and His place of rest will be glorious.
2In the last days the mountain of the house of the LORD will be established as the chief of the mountains; it will be raised above the hills, and all nations will stream to it. 3And many peoples will come and say: "Come, let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob. He will teach us His ways so that we may walk in His paths." For the law will go forth from Zion, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem. 4Then He will judge between the nations and arbitrate for many peoples. They will beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks. Nation will no longer take up the sword against nation, nor train anymore for war.
14For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD as the waters cover the sea.
9On that day the LORD will become King over all the earth—the LORD alone, and His name alone.

17From that time on Jesus began to preach, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is near.”
28But if I drive out demons by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God has come upon you.
18"The Spirit of the Lord is on Me, because He has anointed Me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent Me to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to release the oppressed, 19to proclaim the year of the Lord's favor." 20Then He rolled up the scroll, returned it to the attendant, and sat down. The eyes of everyone in the synagogue were fixed on Him, 21and He began by saying, "Today this Scripture is fulfilled in your hearing."
18So He told them, “I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven.

18Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me. 19Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, 20and teaching them to obey all that I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”
46And He told them, “This is what is written: The Christ will suffer and rise from the dead on the third day, 47and in His name repentance and forgiveness of sins will be proclaimed to all nations, beginning in Jerusalem.
8But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you, and you will be My witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth."
9And they sang a new song: "Worthy are You to take the scroll and open its seals, because You were slain, and by Your blood You purchased for God those from every tribe and tongue and people and nation. 10You have made them to be a kingdom and priests to serve our God, and they will reign upon the earth."

5Now there were dwelling in Jerusalem God-fearing Jews from every nation under heaven. 6And when this sound rang out, a crowd came together in bewilderment, because each one heard them speaking his own language. 7Astounded and amazed, they asked, "Are not all these men who are speaking Galileans? 8How is it then that each of us hears them in his own native language? 9Parthians, Medes, and Elamites; residents of Mesopotamia, Judea and Cappadocia, Pontus and Asia, 10Phrygia and Pamphylia, Egypt and the parts of Libya near Cyrene; visitors from Rome, 11both Jews and converts to Judaism; Cretans and Arabs—we hear them declaring the wonders of God in our own tongues!"
7So the word of God continued to spread. The number of disciples in Jerusalem grew rapidly, and a great number of priests became obedient to the faith.
13for, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” 14How then can they call on the One in whom they have not believed? And how can they believe in the One of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone to preach? 15And how can they preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!”
18All this is from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: 19that God was reconciling the world to Himself in Christ, not counting men’s trespasses against them. And He has committed to us the message of reconciliation. 20Therefore we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were making His appeal through us. We implore you on behalf of Christ: Be reconciled to God.

All over the world this gospel is bearing fruit and growing, just as it has been doing among you since the day you heard it and truly understood the grace of God.
23if indeed you continue in your faith, established and firm, not moved from the hope of the gospel you heard, which has been proclaimed to every creature under heaven, and of which I, Paul, have become a servant.

XIEschatological Consummation — Earth Filled with Glory (Not Yet)Eschatological Consummation
Texts
17For behold, I will create new heavens and a new earth. The former things will not be remembered, nor will they come to mind. 18But be glad and rejoice forever in what I create; for I will create Jerusalem to be a joy and its people to be a delight. 19I will rejoice in Jerusalem and take delight in My people. The sounds of weeping and crying will no longer be heard in her. 20No longer will a nursing infant live but a few days, or an old man fail to live out his years. For the youth will die at a hundred years, and he who fails to reach a hundred will be considered accursed. 21They will build houses and dwell in them; they will plant vineyards and eat their fruit. 22No longer will they build houses for others to inhabit, nor plant for others to eat. For as is the lifetime of a tree, so will be the days of My people, and My chosen ones will fully enjoy the work of their hands. 23They will not labor in vain or bear children doomed to disaster; for they will be a people blessed by the LORD—they and their descendants with them. 24Even before they call, I will answer, and while they are still speaking, I will hear. 25The wolf and the lamb will feed together, and the lion will eat straw like the ox, but the food of the serpent will be dust. They will neither harm nor destroy on all My holy mountain," says the LORD.
22"For just as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, will endure before Me," declares the LORD, "so your descendants and your name will endure.
1Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and earth had passed away, and the sea was no more. 2I saw the holy city, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. 3And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying: "Behold, the dwelling place of God is with man, and He will dwell with them. They will be His people, and God Himself will be with them as their God. 4‘He will wipe away every tear from their eyes,’ and there will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the former things have passed away.”
24By its light the nations will walk, and into it the kings of the earth will bring their glory. 25Its gates will never be shut at the end of the day, because there will be no night there. 26And into the city will be brought the glory and honor of the nations.
1Then the angel showed me a river of the water of life, as clear as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb 2down the middle of the main street of the city. On either side of the river stood a tree of life, bearing twelve kinds of fruit and yielding a fresh crop for each month. And the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations. 3No longer will there be any curse. The throne of God and of the Lamb will be within the city, and His servants will worship Him. 4They will see His face, and His name will be on their foreheads. 5There will be no more night in the city, and they will have no need for the light of a lamp or of the sun. For the Lord God will shine on them, and they will reign forever and ever.

Four-Step Application
1. What You Must Do
You must participate in the renewed garden commission—the Great Commission. You are called to make disciples, to be a witness "to the ends of the earth" (Acts 1:8), to help fill the world with the knowledge of the Lord's glory. This is not optional religious activity but the purpose for which image-bearers exist.
2. Why You Can't Do It
You keep trying to build your own kingdom instead. Your career, your family, your reputation, your legacy—you invest enormous energy constructing your personal Eden. But your kingdoms crumble. Babel always scatters. You also try to fulfill the commission through your own strength and strategies, as though gospel advance depends on your cleverness. Both errors—self-kingdom and self-powered mission—frustrate the commission.
3. How He Did It
Christ is the true image-bearer who succeeded where Adam failed. He came "to seek and to save the lost" (Luke 19:10)—gathering what was scattered. He announced "the kingdom of God is near" (Mark 1:15)—Eden breaking in. Through His death and resurrection, He defeated the serpent who derailed the original commission. Now "all authority in heaven and on earth" has been given to Him (Matthew 28:18). He sends His church in His power, by His Spirit, for His glory. The commission advances not through human achievement but through divine empowerment.
4. How Through Him You Can
Because Christ has all authority and has promised His presence "to the end of the age" (Matthew 28:20), you can participate in the renewed commission without anxiety or pride. You don't build the kingdom—you announce it. You don't expand sacred space—you witness to the One who is sacred space. All over the world the gospel "is bearing fruit and growing" (Colossians 1:6) because Christ is building His church. Your role is faithful witness, empowered by His Spirit, directed toward His glory. The trajectory will complete: "For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD as the waters cover the sea" (Habakkuk 2:14). Eden will cover the cosmos. And you get to participate in that mission—not as architect but as ambassador.
But notice what the promise says the filled earth is full of: not activity, but glory known—and glory known is glory enjoyed. So lift your eyes off the errand and onto the King who sent you. Behold the glory of Christ the last Adam, who succeeded where you cannot and whose authority secures the outcome; and "we, who with unveiled faces all reflect the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into His image with intensifying glory" (2 Corinthians 3:18). Beholding Him is how you become like Him, and becoming like Him is what you have to give. The earth is to be filled with worshipers because He is worthy of them—so the ambassador's first work is not to speak of a glory he has not seen, but to see it, savor it, and then carry what he cannot stop talking about.
Across the whole trajectory
Lexicon Findings
The Garden Commission trajectory is unified by a consistent Hebrew-to-Greek lexical thread tracing Eden-expansion from Genesis through prophetic anticipation to NT fulfillment. Genesis 1:28's foundational verbs—פָּרָה (pārâh, H6509, "be fruitful"), רָבָה (râbâh, H7235, "multiply"), and מָלֵא (mâlēʾ, H4390, "fill")—establish biological expansion as temple-building mission. The priestly language of Genesis 2:15 (עָבַד ʿāḇaḏ, H5647, "work/serve"; שָׁמַר šāmar, H8104, "keep/guard") reveals Adam's temple-service calling. Isaiah and Habakkuk's climactic prophecies employ the same מָלֵא root ("earth filled with knowledge/glory"), demonstrating OT-to-OT canonical development. The LXX renders these Hebrew terms with Greek equivalents that NT authors adopt: πληρόω (plēróō, G4137, "fill/fulfill") is the LXX's standard rendering of מָלֵא, supplying the fill-the-earth register the NT inherits (Genesis 1:28 LXX πληρώσατε; at Isaiah 11:9 and Habakkuk 2:14 the LXX uses the cognates ἐμπίμπλημι / πίμπλημι), and πληθύνω (plēthýnō, G4129, "multiply") reappears in Luke's word-growth refrains — the number of disciples "grew rapidly" (Acts 6:7) and "the word of God continued to spread and multiply" (Acts 12:24; cf. 19:20) — showing NT continuity. Matthew 28:19's "all nations" (πάντα τὰ ἔθνη, pánta tà éthnē, G3956+G1484) explicitly universalizes the Adamic mandate. Colossians 1:6's "bearing fruit and growing" (καρποφορούμενον καὶ αὐξανόμενον, using αὐξάνω G837) employs Eden-expansion imagery to describe gospel advance, demonstrating lexical continuity from Genesis to Great Commission.
